O.K So I havent had the time to give you a weekly electro dose, but that is due to Art Noise, and enhancing my DJ sets. You did get a nice little mix uploaded last week, so stop complaining! Anyways for this Big 5 feature I am going to give you a visual treat. These are music videos I am enjoying at the moment....
1. The Greeks - Is Tropical
This video sums up my childhood. Imagining nerf guns and water pistols could do this kind of thing was seriously cool. Seriously. I love how the cartoonish animations make it funny whilst still retaining a realistic violent feel to it all. Genius.
2. Beastie Boys - Don't Play No Game That I Can't Win
Another brilliant video, again appealing to my childhood. Action figurine mayhem involving soldiers, zombies, sharks and explosions. What could be better?
3 Mr. Scruff - Wobble Control
I know I bang on about it but Scruff is brilliant. And I found out this month that he is coming back to play Digital on Sunday October 30th! Wobbly basslines, jazzy hooks and hip hop beats. I love it. And who couldnt love those animations!
4. Lonely Island - Jack Sparrow
O.K so its a bit of a joke track, but come on, Michael Bolton will not do anything as cool as this ever again. And as funny as it is meant to be that hook is catchy as anything!
5. Mr. Oizo - Flat Beat
It may not be new, it may not be cutting edge, but Flat Beat is a great video never the less. The song was waaaay before its time and deserves all the attention it still gets. I still drop it in sets as it constantly achieves as a dance floor killer.
